Visiting Bastar under Sushasan Tihar, CREDA CEO inspected plant quality under Solar Sujala Yojana and Jal Jeeven Mission.
Spoke with the residents of Cholnar, Mundapal, Parchanpal, Chapka in Bastar district, and gathered information about irrigation systems and drinking water sources.
May 21, 2025 jaggdalpur Under the solar based policies of the Government of India and the State Government, the job of benefiting the people of the state is being carried out by CREDA, the nodal agency of the State and Central Government. Under the direction of Shri Vishnudev Sai, the Chief Minister of the state, CREDA CEO Shri Rajesh Singh Rana is constantly ensuring great quality of solar plant operations and implementing the zero tolerance policy in the said activities. Under this zero tolerance strategy, CEO Shri Rana is touring several areas to guarantee plant quality. Last day, CREDA CEO Mr. Rajesh Singh Rana visited solar plants built under the Jal Jeeven Mission Scheme and Solar Sujala Scheme in several villages of the Bastar district. Examining the solar pump set under the Solar Sujala Scheme Phase-09 at village-Cholnar of Vikaskhand, he asked about the use of the plant from the beneficiary benefited by it. In which the recipient expressed delight over the operation of the plant and told that it is useful for the fundamental need of drinking water and that the plant is running without problems.
The solar pump mounted under the Solar Sujala Scheme Phase-09 at Mundapal of Bastar development block by CREDA CEO Mr. Rajesh Singh Rana was found to be operational during the inspection. Beneficiary Mr. Chunnuram father Bhadu informed me he was highly eager to install a solar pump since his field lacked an electricity facility. This is why I contacted the Agriculture Department and filed the application; now, I am quite happy and excited with the installation of solar pump from CREDA department. The benefactor informed me that the three acres of agricultural land he had at hand will henceforth be farmed all year round. Director of Corporate Research and Development After observing the solar dual pump installed under Jal Jeeven Mission Yojana Phase 02 in village Parchanpal (Mahupalbarai) of Bastar development block, Shri Rana interacted with the villagers Bahadur, Chaitan, Sukaman, Vigti, Sushanti, Rukmani and Raju present there and inquired about the availability of drinking water after seeing the plant working. The people claimed that they are really delighted with the solar dual pump since it is working and they have constant water supply even in the absence of electricity. He examined the solar dual pump placed under Jal Jeeven Mission Yojana Phase-02 at village Chapka of Bastar development block and spoke with residents Ramesh Maurya, Malti Maurya, Kamlesh Goyal, Balo Maurya, Chatur Singh, Bhavesh Maurya and Anganwadi worker Mrs. Tilottama Mohapatra. Mrs. Tilottama Mohapatra, an Anganwadi worker, said that not only Anganwadi but also the solar dual pump is running clean drinking water is being made accessible to the locals. He directed CREDA staff to work with the PHE department and promptly have the pipeline fixed as per need. Other officials like Assistant Engineer Mr. Sidar and Executive Engineer CREDA Jagdalpur Zone Mr. Dwivedi were present on this occasion.
