Teacher abducted and forcibly wed; sari and mangalsutra found from the detained accused

Police have cracked the mystery of a girl kidnapping in Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon district. Regarding the kidnapping, Delhi police have detained the main culprit Anup Chandrakar.

The accused was making his way to Goa in escape. Dongargaon police station and cyber cell personnel have been involved in arresting the culprits. Press conferences held at the Superintendent of Police office unveiled the matter.

The victim had reported herself as a teacher leaving her village to teach like every other day, according to the police, in the Dongargaon police station region of the Rajnandgaon district. Some misfits abducted her in a car during this period. Along with the miscreants, the primary offender Anup Chandrakar also forced marriage the victim. Should she not get married, the accused sought to set her on fire by dispersing gasoline and also made threats.

The victim somehow managed to get away from the accused and arrived at her house. She told the relatives about the situation. Following this, the victim complained in Dongargaon police station and then appealed at the SP office.

Objects recovered for the wedding

Simultaneously, the police acted in this instance, assembling a team assisted by cybercell and began looking for the accused. The principal accused Anup Chandrakar from Delhi has been taken into custody by the police. Furthermore, his two friends Tameshwar Nishad and Roshan Nishad have already been taken under custody. Simultaneously, the chunari, fabric, and mangalsutra used in the wedding have also been recovered from the accused with the car engaged in the crime.
