Ward councillor beaten up, woman attacked over caste-residence certificate, complaint lodged at police station

A shocking incident has come to light from Sanjay Gandhi Ward of Jagdalpur, where a woman allegedly assaulted Ward Councilor Komal Sena. It is being told that Aarti Sona, a resident of Jhopdi Para, had approached the councilor to get her caste and residence certificate made. When the councilor said that the format of the residence certificate is over and the certificate will be made after printing, the woman got furious and started abusing and scuffling with Komal Sena and her sister-in-law. In this incident, the councilor and her sister-in-law have suffered injuries on their faces. Both the women reached Bodhghat police station in an injured state and lodged an FIR against the accused woman.

At present, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
