Education revolution started from Ambikapur
Lecturers and head teachers became vocal for the principal promotion which was pending for 12 years in the state
Educationalist Satish Prakash Singh communicated with the teacher community on important issues of the education world and suggested solutions to the problems of teachers
Ambikapur / The division level meeting cum workshop on the principal promotion pending for the last 12 years in the school education department of the state and important issues of the education world was successfully concluded in Ambikapur on 23 May 2025 in the presence of educationist and national thinker Satish Prakash Singh.
In the division level meeting held at Feel Anandam Resort in Ambikapur, State Convenor Satish Prakash Singh directly communicated with the lecturers, head teachers, teachers who came from various places of Ambikapur including remote areas of Surguja division – Jashpur, Manendragarh, Baikunthpur, Surajpur, Balrampur and suggested solutions to the problems of various teacher cadres.
In the meeting, a strong demand was made to remove the legal hurdles arising in the matter of Principal promotion which has been stuck for the last 12 years in the state and to promote eligible lecturers and head teachers to the post of Principal soon.
A demand was also made to the government to provide the benefit of promotion to eligible lecturers and head teachers who were deprived of Principal promotion due to anomalies in the promotion rules by including them in the list of Principal promotions.
“Chhattisgarh State Principal Promotion Struggle Front” and “Chhattisgarh State Sarva Shashakiya Sevak Adhikari- Karmachari Promotion Struggle Front” and “Chhattisgarh Progressive & Innovative Teachers Federation (CGPITF) decided to expand the organization for the principal promotion, lecturer promotion, teacher promotion and teacher welfare pending in the state’s school education department for the last 12 years and to run a statewide membership campaign for strengthening the organization.
In the meeting, Satish Prakash Singh said that “Chhattisgarh State Principal Promotion Struggle Front” is making every effort to promote all the eligible lecturers and head teachers who are deprived of principal promotion to the post of principal, for which a strong demand has been made to the government. He appealed to the teacher community of all cadres to unite for the interests of the teachers of the state.

Vishwakarma, Vishambar Singh, Chamru Ram Paikra, Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Naveen Sahay, Desiya Ram, Lila Ram, Sachchidanand Pandey, Blessius Beck, Lalit Kumar Toppo, Neelam Tigga, Anil Toppo, Gyan Bhushan Toppo, Bela Tiwari expressed their views.
The program was conducted by Sarguja division in-charge Triveni Prasad Jharia and women cell in-charge Avantika Gajoria.
