Information about schemes given to youth in entrepreneurship awareness camp for setting up self-employment
Jagdalpur 07 July 2025/ To attract the youth towards self-employment, a one-day entrepreneurship development awareness camp has been organized by the Regional Trade and Industry Center Jagdalpur at the Government Industrial Training Institute, Adawal Jagdalpur on Monday. In the said awareness camp, the trainees of Polytechnic College and RSETI including ITI were given information through presentation to establish their own employment under the major self-employment schemes operated in the department, Pradhan Mantri Micro Food Enterprise Upgradation Scheme and Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Program. In which, mainly under the Pradhan Mantri Micro Food Enterprise Upgradation Scheme, video conversion of various products being made from local products Kodo-Kutki, Tamarind and Moringa was also shown in the presentation. In the entrepreneurship development awareness camp, the Chief General Manager of Regional Trade and Industry Center Jagdalpur, Mr. Ajit Sundar Vilung, motivated the trainees to establish their own employment in view of the current situation of the schemes being run in the office and assured to provide all possible support.
In the said awareness camp, the manager of the industry department, Mr. Jitendra Kumar and Mr. Lokesh Khaparde, provided brief information about the schemes, application process, bank assistance etc. Also, after the successful organization of the camp, the Principal of ITI, officials of RSETI and Polytechnic College, employees and trainees of these institutions were thanked.
