Instructions given in the time limit meeting
Jagdalpur 17 June 2025/ Collector Shri Haris S said that it is necessary to follow the rules prescribed by the government for rainwater harvesting system in urban areas to increase the ground water level. Action should also be taken to impose fine on those who do not follow the rules in the municipal corporation area. Apart from this, rain water harvesting technology in rural areas and ponds for water recharge, other water conservation works should be completed on priority. The Collector directed the officials in the time limit meeting held in the Prerna Sabhakaksha of the District Office on Tuesday.
In the meeting, instructions were given to resolve the cases pending for more than a month for the applications of Chief Minister Jandarshan, PG Portal, Public Grievance. Apart from this, the Collector also discussed the cases of Jandarshan and time limit. While reviewing the Niyyad Nellnar scheme, he said that for data entry, all the departments will fill the information by conducting a survey with their field staff. During the review of departmental schemes, he took cognizance of the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, survey of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2, physical progress of houses after receiving the first installment in 2025-26 under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and unstarted works. He directed the surrendered and Naxal-affected people to complete the housing construction work under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by the month of September. The collector directed for door-to-door garbage collection and systematic waste management in villages paying usage charges for the tap water scheme. Also, he asked to take initiative to identify the pre-constructed soak pit in the village and get it reused with community participation. In the meeting, he reviewed the employment opportunities to unskilled workers under MNREGA, status of construction of Mahtari Sadan, physical progress of construction work of Anganwadi buildings, PDS shop under MNREGA and progress of Devgudi renovation work and other incomplete development works approved under Mineral Trust Institute item. He reviewed the progress of works under the Chief Minister’s Infrastructure Maintenance and Upgradation Authority Scheme district-wise. Instructions were given to identify persons above 60 years of age for social pension schemes and take necessary action for the pension scheme in all districts as well as in Municipal Corporation and Nagar Panchayat. While reviewing the additional ration storage of 3 months from the Food Department, the Collector prepared a route chart for delivering ration to the fair price shops of all the development blocks on the basis of the action plan.
Gave instructions to ensure storage. He instructed to get the paddy lifted from the paddy procurement center and get the center vacated. Discussed with the Agriculture Department officer on the fulfillment of the target of Kisan Credit Card for Kharif year 2025-26 and directed to complete it by the end of the month. Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry Development Department was asked to increase the cases of Kisan Credit Card on the basis of departmental target. After receiving the proposal from the Panchayat for fisheries, permission should be given for fish farming by giving patta on the ponds. The Collector directed to get an investigation done through Tehsildars for the economic loss of farmers due to substandard and weak standard chilli seeds in Bastar-Bakawand area.
A proposal will be given to the government on the basis of third party evaluation of the works of Mukhyamantri School Jatan Yojana and the evaluation of SDM. Reviewed the works of the construction department of School Jatan Yojana and instructed to complete the incomplete construction works by July 15. Health Department officials should give benefits to maximum number of people in the Ayushman Card special camp organized in Bakawand and Darbha blocks. Also, directed to target urban areas for sickle cell testing and to conduct more testing in potential areas of Bastar and Nangur for TB testing. Instructed the Women and Child Development Department officer to get 100% weak children admitted to Nutrition Rehabilitation Center. Discussion was held on updating self Aadhaar of children from 0 to 6 years, instructed to get Aadhaar cards made for children in Dharti Aaba Janjati Utkarsh Program. Took cognizance of the status of face capturing and e-KYC in the app by providing nutrition to the beneficiaries under supplementary nutrition diet. Reviewed the progress of approved drinking water facility and toilet construction works in Anganwadi centers. Apart from this, reviewed the progress of approved works under Bastar Area Tribal Development Authority item, progress of Jal Jeevan Mission works. On this occasion, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Prateek Jain, Additional Collector Mr. CP Baghel, Rishikesh Tiwari, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Praveen Verma and other district level officers were present.
