Raipur = June 14, 2025-The state government has made a provision of Rs 12 crore for the construction of district panchayat buildings in the newly formed six districts Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Sakti and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh during the financial year 2025-26. This amount will be released to the respective districts after administrative approval by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department. This decision is the result of the special initiative and vision of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, whose priority has been to make the necessary administrative infrastructure available to the newly formed districts soon, so that local public problems can be resolved quickly.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma said that Zila Panchayat Bhawans are not only the centre of administrative operations, but also bring transparency and speed in the implementation of development schemes. The establishment of Panchayat Bhawans in these six newly formed districts will strengthen the local administrative system and the rural areas will get the benefits of development schemes directly and in a timely manner.
The Deputy Chief Minister also clarified that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai is committed to the holistic and balanced development of Chhattisgarh. The state government is taking concrete steps towards making the governance effective in rural areas by establishing strong infrastructure in the newly formed districts. It is noteworthy that proposals have been prepared for all the six districts and soon the administrative process will be completed and construction work will be started.
