Israel Strikes Iran: Will America pressurize Israel for ceasefire by calling Iranian leadership great? No… no, we have not attacked Iran. We have no role in this attack. Israel has taken unilateral action. Therefore, Iran should not attack our soldiers and our bases in the Gulf countries. Israel has carried out this attack citing self-defense. We are in touch with our partner countries in the Middle East. This is the statement of US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio. On the other hand, US Congress Speaker Mike Johnson justified the attack and said that Israel has the right to self-defense. Apart from them, many leaders including Mike Pence, Senator Ted Cruz have justified Israel’s air strike. Israel has named the attack on Iran as Operation Rising Lion. The objective is to destroy the Iranian conspiracy to surround Israel from all sides. Benjamin Netanyahu, in his address to the nation, called this conspiracy of Iran a threat to Israel’s existence because in a few months Iran will have the power to make 9 nuclear bombs.
America’s double ploy
Netanyahu told how Iran wants to destroy his country. Death to Israel, Death to America – this is Iran’s slogan. Netanyahu repeated it. Now the question arises that why does America want to show itself away from this war. Actually this is America’s double ploy. Donald Trump wants to keep America out of any war anywhere in the world. His policy is that this is your problem, what do we have to do with it? That is why America is firing the gun by keeping it on Israel’s shoulder. Look at the recent developments. Donald Trump himself has justified the nuclear deal with Iran three times. Talks have taken place between Iran and America in the Gulf countries. Trump has repeatedly said that the deal should be such that Iran cannot make a nuclear bomb. But Iran has made it clear that it wants to use uranium enrichment for energy. The matter got stuck on the amount of uranium enrichment. Both also threatened each other. Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) prepared a report and said that Iran is enriching uranium at a faster rate than the stipulated conditions. Israel got an excuse.
Now look at Rubio’s statement, it seems as if Israel did not inform America or the Trump administration about its preparations. Can this happen? Absolutely not. Recently, America evacuated the Iraqi embassy. Everyone was called back except the most important people. Embassies in other countries of the region were alerted. This means that America was aware of Operation Rising Lion. Now it is Trump’s turn. He can call this attack a bold and beautiful strike anytime. Israel is doing its job. This much is justified.
Operation Sindoor vs Operation Lion
Now let’s come to Operation Sindoor. Let’s compare it with Operation Rising Lion. Will America come to bring about a ceasefire between Israel and Iran? Will it express concern over Benjamin Netanyahu’s action? Will it call Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian a great leader? Just like Shahbaz Sharif was compared to our PM. What is the difference between the two operations? We also targeted Pakistani hideouts in self-defense. We first targeted terrorist hideouts. It was Pakistan that provoked it and then its military bases came under attack. The Pahalgam attack was not the first one. If Israel feels that Iran has been plotting to destroy it for decades, then Pakistan is also doing the same. Death to America is not a new slogan of Iran. Similarly, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto said in the United Nations that his country is ready for a Thousand Year War against India. General Zia-ul-Haq added poison to the same language and raised the slogan of ‘Bleeding India through a thousand cuts’.
America in a tizzy over Operation Sindoor
Then why was there a tizzy in America over Operation Sindoor? How is our self-defense and Israel’s self-defense different? Trump expressed fear that India can launch missile attacks on Pakistan’s nuclear bases. And Pakistan can also do something in response. Today the situation is such that IAEA has detected radiation in Iran’s nuclear base Natanz where Israel has fired missiles. Within ten minutes, Israel killed the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the Chief of Army Staff and a special nuclear scientist. But no statement has come so far that the issue should be resolved peacefully. This is America’s double standard policy. It has been using Pakistan not only to balance India but also China. Trump wants Pakistan to become its puppet. America is probably not able to digest India’s independent role in international diplomacy. We are with Russia as well as America in national interest. We do not change our policy for their interests. This is what Trump does not like. He wants Quad but has a problem with BRICS. We need to be alert towards such double standard policy.
