The situation is more worrying in Bilaspur, where 10 new corona patients have been identified in a single day. This figure is a signal of alert for the local administration and health department.

The Health Department has appealed to the people that if anyone shows symptoms like cold, cough or fever, they should get tested immediately and take precautions. Corona infection is spreading rapidly in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Gulab Nagar, Rajkishore Nagar, Hemunagar and Nehru Nagar of the city have been declared Corona hotspot areas. 10 infected patients have been confirmed from these areas in a single day, including a High Court Justice. All the infected have been kept in home isolation and the Health Department has started investigating their travel history.
People coming from other states are infected, confirmed in RTPCR test
It has also come to light in the investigation that many of the infected have recently returned from traveling to other states. All of them have been confirmed to have Covid infection in RTPCR test. The age of the infected patients ranges from 8 years to 65 years. According to experts, this infection is now spreading in all age groups, making the situation more sensitive. The Health Department has appealed to the citizens to wear masks, avoid crowds and get tested immediately if symptoms appear. In view of the increasing cases of corona in Bilaspur, the administration has increased vigilance. District Kovid Incharge Dr. Prabhat Srivastava informed that the number of corona tests will be further increased in the coming days so that the infection can be controlled in time.
