The youth of Bastar will talk about development and the security force personnel will always be ready for their duty. Communication means are used a lot among today’s youth, the positive environment of Bastar must be talked about on this social media. The development of Bastar will happen on the Bastar model and according to Bastar. The water, forest, land of Bastar belong to the residents of Bastar, the youth. The government is doing everything possible for peace. The security force camp that is there now will be developed as a minor forest produce collection, processing and marketing center in the future. Referring to the incidents committed by the Naxalites in the past, he said that the Naxalites have killed many innocent common people and security force personnel. The ugly character of Naxalites has to be exposed. Maoism has no place in the ideology of India. Maoist activities damaged the infrastructure in the region, money was extorted from common citizens or contractors, common people were brutally murdered. Therefore, Naxalism should now end in Bastar. The Naxal violence affected people of Bastar went to Delhi and told their pain to the President and the Union Home Minister and also raised slogans against Naxalism in Jantar Mantar and JNU campus. Today, the victims of Naxal violence are putting forth their views in big places. They are also motivating the Naxalites to join the mainstream and take advantage of the government’s rehabilitation policy. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma was addressing the seminar on the ugly face of Maoism from Beijing to Bastar organized under the aegis of Bastar Shanti Samiti in Pandit Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Auditorium in Jagdalpur on Tuesday. On this occasion, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap said that we Bastar residents have been suffering the brunt of Maoism for the last four decades and are lagging behind in overall development due to the Maoist problem, but now the general public has become aware to get rid of these Maoists and a big change is being reflected as a result of joining the mainstream of development. The people of Bastar are eager to move towards happiness, peace and prosperity. Keeping this in mind, the Central and State Government are taking a committed initiative by taking a resolution to eradicate the Maoism problem from its roots by March 2026. Due to which the complete destruction of Maoists is inevitable and peace, prosperity and happiness will come in the entire Bastar and the beats of drums will be heard again in the valleys of Bastar.

In the seminar, Bastar IG Sundarraj P. said that Naxal activity increased in the Bastar region, once covered with forests, since the 1980s, which hindered development in the area. Now, with the blessings of the revered goddess Maa Danteshwari, there will definitely be peace in the region due to the efforts of the security forces.

In the seminar, Bastar MP Mahesh Kashyap, film director Sudipto Sen, Bastar Peace Committee member Dashrath Kashyap, former MLA Raja Ram Todem and Bastar District Journalist Association President Manish Gupta gave their statements on the change in the form of Bastar due to Naxal activities in Bastar. In the seminar, a documentary focusing on the demand for democracy in Tiananmen Square on the night of 3-4 June 1989 in China and the problem of Maoism was also screened. The Home Minister and Forest Minister also interacted with the youth in the program. Also, during this time, Commissioner Bastar Doman Singh, SP Shalabh Sinha and district administration officials, various community leaders of Bastar region, representatives of social workers and voluntary organizations, journalists and a large number of youth along with dignitaries were present.

It should be known that Naxalites (Maoists) talk about water, forest and land in Bastar by considering the Communist Party of China as their ideal. In the same China, on the night of 3-4 June 1989, 10 thousand students demanding democracy in Tiananmen Square were crushed by tanks.

Mao Tse Tung, the ideal of Naxalites, had said that “political power comes from the barrel of a gun.” With this ideology, Naxalites (Maoists) have deprived the people of Bastar of their rights for years, and have killed thousands of innocent tribals and hundreds of security personnel in the land of Bastar. Bastar is moving ahead on the path of development by getting free from the hollow ideology of these Naxalites (Maoists), so a program to discuss the idea was organized on Tuesday.
