IPL final tomorrow, the theme of the closing ceremony will be ‘Operation Sindoor’: Whether the three army chiefs will come or not will be decided by evening, Shankar Mahadevan’s live concert

The IPL final will be played on Tuesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The theme of the closing ceremony of the final will be ‘Operation Sindoor’. The chiefs of the three armies may attend the program.

However, their office has not confirmed their participation in the ceremony yet. The entire stadium will be decorated with tricolor lights and during this time there will be a live concert of singer Shankar Mahadevan.

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said –

“To celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor, we have invited Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh along with other army chiefs, officers and soldiers to watch the IPL final match in Ahmedabad.”

IPL was stopped for a week

On May 8, the Punjab-Delhi match in Dharamsala was halted midway due to a drone attack by Pakistan. The very next day, the BCCI postponed the IPL for a week. After the ceasefire was announced, the BCCI announced the schedule of the remaining 16 matches of the IPL.

The national anthem was played in most matches after Operation Sindoor

Since Operation Sindoor, the BCCI has consistently shown solidarity with the armed forces. 16 IPL matches were played after Operation Sindoor. The national anthem was played in most matches. Also, the message ‘Thank you, Armed Forces’ was also shown on the giant screen inside the stadium. Earlier, the national anthem was not played in the IPL.

There has been a demand for playing the national anthem in IPL matches for a long time. Ness Wadia, co-owner of IPL team Kings XI Punjab, also raised this demand in 2019. Not only this, he also wrote a letter to the Board of Control for Cricket in India in this regard.

22 April afternoon around 2 pm, place- Baisaran valley of Pahalgam in Kashmir. A group of more than 40 people from different states of the country had come here to visit. All the tourists were in an open field. There are 4 to 5 small shops nearby. Some tourists sat on chairs outside the shops. Some tourists were sitting in the field nearby.

Just then two people came from the forest. They asked a tourist his name. The tourist told his name. One of the people who came from the forest pointed towards the tourist and said- he is not a Muslim. After this, he took out a pistol and shot the tourist in the head. They kept firing for about 10 minutes. The tourists and shopkeepers understood that this was a terrorist attack. Initially, the news of the death of one tourist came. By 11 pm, the death toll had increased to 27.
