Under Traffic Awareness, De-addict, Cybercrime, Program = Venue = Shaheed Mahendra Karma University Bastar, Jagdalpur

In the program related to road safety, de-addiction organized by the National Service Scheme Cell under the University Administration, Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Mahendra Karma University Bastar Professor Shri Manoj Kumar Srivastava, Superintendent of Police Bastar Shri Shalabh Kumar Sinha, State NSS Officer Dr. Neeta Bajpai, Registrar Dr. Rajesh Lalwani, Program Coordinator R.S.Y. Dr. Sanjeevan Kumar, City Superintendent of Police Shri Akash Shrimal, Deputy Police Officer Geetika Sahu, Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Jain, Traffic Incharge Madhusadan Nag and NSS officers of the college under Bastar University were present in the assembly hall of the university campus today on 19/5/2025.
All of the attendees in the mentioned session provided valuable knowledge on road safety and de-addiction prevention and protection.
Regarding prevention and protection of accidents under road safety, and de-addiction, Bastar Superintendent of Police Mr. Shalabh Kumar Sinha also provided vital information and advice to the NSS students and college officials in the assembly hall of the university campus. Keeping many crucial data, the Superintendent of Police also informed the present attendees about the occurrence and its consequences as well as some instances of preventive.
Along with this, Mr. Akash Shrimal, Deputy Superintendent of Police Cyber Geetika Sahu, Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic Santosh Jain, Traffic Incharge Madhusudan Nag, and District Advisor for De-addiction and Tobacco Control Umesh Sahu from the Health Department also provided information to the college students and professors who were present in great numbers (about 300) in the program regarding traffic rules, causes of road accidents, prevention, measures and cyber fraud and de-addition etc. Furthermore, the video and ppt of the prior traffic collision in the region helped to clarify the causes of the occurrence. The teachers and National Service Scheme participants listened carefully to the subjects of road safety, cyber fraud, de-addiction, traffic, on which the students and teachers present said that in future they should always be alert toward the traffic rules and follow them. Along with this, program participants—teachers and students—discussed raising awareness of the negative consequences of de-addiction among ever increasing numbers of individuals. Apart from the NSS students and college under Shaheed Mahendra Karma University professors, the university has traffic and other administrative personnel presence.
