Public awareness conveyed by the Health Department on National Dengue Day
From Jagdalpur: Under the Sushasan Festival, Samadhan Camp conducted by the government on the National Dengue Day-2025 theme, see, clean, cover, take actions to combat dengue, Mayor Sanjay Pandey informed the city dwellers on the prevention and protection of dengue. He advised not letting water gather around your house and to follow Health Department recommendations. Regarding the prevention and protection of dengue, the Health Department has appealed to all the citizens that dengue spreads due to the bite of Aedes mosquito which thrives in clean water, so regularly clean the flower pots, tires, coolers, broken utensils, fridge trays etc. around your house and do not let water accumulate. Use mosquito net. Keep your surroundings neat and wear clothing covering hands and feet totally. The general people is urged to help in dengue prevention. Immediately see your closest health clinic if you have fever or dengue. All government health clinics provide free dengue testing and treatment facilities.
