Actually, operating the largest anti-Naxal operation ever in the Karregutta highlands were CRPF and Chhattisgarh Police. This was an almost three-week procedure. A massive swarm of bees struck during this operation as the CRPF and Chhattisgarh Police team were returning after a search in the Karregutta hills. The dogs wrapped K9 Rolo with a polythene cloth during this to protect him from the bee stings. This effort failed, however, as numerous bees pierced the sheet and began stinging K9 Rolo. Rolo therefore developed extreme pain and burning and lost control. Following this he emerged from the sheet. More bees bit him as soon he emerged from the sheet. Because of this he passed out. The troops claim that over 200 bees stung K9 Rolo.
