Mic Glitch Interrupts Governor’s Address on Day 3 of Bihar Assembly’s Winter Session

Patna: On the third day of the Bihar Assembly’s winter session, the Governor’s address was briefly disrupted by a microphone malfunction. As soon as the Governor began speaking at 11:30 AM, the mic stopped working. Despite the issue, he continued delivering his speech, while the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister looked around in concern. After nearly five minutes, the Governor remarked, “I will speak a little louder,” and resumed his address without the functioning microphone.

The Governor highlighted several achievements and ongoing initiatives of the state government:

  • The number of teachers in Bihar has increased to 5.2 lakh.
  • Government medical colleges are being established in all 27 districts of the state.
  • IGIMS is being expanded into a 3,000-bed super-specialty hospital, reducing the need for students to go outside the state for medical education.

  • Women running successful small businesses will receive financial assistance of ₹2 lakh.
